Where to eat: This is my first time to the Claypot restaurant... It's located in Jalan Sungai Kelian, Hillside, Tanjung Bungah... Don't misinterpret that this is a claypot rice restaurant just that they cooking the dish by using the hotpot... There are varieties of claypot chicken and tofu to be choose... It's worth it to eat with the reasonable price...

Hakka Beef Ball Koay Teow




Where to eat: This is my top favourite Hakka food and if I'm not mistaken, this is the only stall in Penang which only selling this traditional Hakka food... The stall is located next to the Chowrasta market which opposite the Kayu nasi kandar... It will serve in 2 bowls which is the dry koay teow that mix with soy sauce... and the other bowl will filled with the fried crunchy meat ball and the springy beef ball...

Lok Lok in Pulau Tikus Market




Where to eat: Another authentic hawker dish that located in Pulau Tikus Market which is just right next to the char koay toew... A boiling pot of water in the center of the table which we can dip the skewered food into the boiling water to boil it... There are lots of variety that we can choose of such as fish ball, meat ball, fried wanton, cuttlefish, prawns, oyster, sausage, filament stick, quails egg, vegetables and so on... Just dip in a few mins, you're ready for the delicacy food...

Char Koay Teow in Pulau Tikus Market


Where to eat: One of the well-known char koay teow that located in Pulau Tikus market... It's only sell at night... This is the signature of dish in Penang... A simple plate of fried koay teow fried with squid, big praws, eggs, bean sprouts, chili, garlic and soy sauce... The special combination with all these ingredients makes it so special... Strongly recommended... definitely can compare with the Lorong Selamat char koay teow...

Rotiboy Mexican Bun






Where to eat: Rotiboy Bakery shop was actually born in April 1998 in Bukit Mertajam... Over the year, Rotiboy started their first outlet in Kuala Lumpur, follow with Korea, Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore etc... Now, there is an outlet in the basement of the Queensbay Mall, Penang which is just newly open... The specialty for Rotiboy is the chrispy Mexican Bun and the distinctive blend of cream topping and soft, aromatic bun. It would be nice to serve with a cup of coffee...

SO Fusion Western Food

Where to eat: One of the western food that surprise me... It's located inside the food court of Sunshine Square in Bayan Baru... This western food is so much different compared to any western food found in hawker centre... The taste is very much delicious as compared to Nando's and Daves Deli... While paying just rm10 less, you can enjoy an exquisite big portion of meal with the side dish of spaghetti, pandan rice or toast bread... The mixture of sauce with the chicken is just so luscious... It's absolutely Bon Appetit ~

Mini Egg Tart at Carnavon Street


Where to eat: One of my favorites mini egg tart that located in Carnavon Street, by the road side next to the coffee shop... The texture for this mini egg tart is so soft and smooth when bite on it and the sweetness of the custard is just nice...

Famous Penang Road Chendol


Where to eat: One of the famous Chendol is located off Penang Road, opposite the Police Station...but now they have another branch in Giant Hypermarket's food court at Bayan Baru... The taste was excellent mixed with brown sugar and coconut milk with pandan flavoured green noodles... It is very thick and highly concentrated... The stall has been in business for more that 30 years...

Hai Onn Koay Teow T'ng


Where to eat: One of the koay teow t'ng that I fancy a lot... It's located in the coffee shop call Hai Onn Restaurant... It's located right opposite Kamdar... The specialty of this koay teow t'ng is the home made minced meat with fish ball, meat ball, sliced duck meat and garnished with spring onion...
It comes with the self blend of lime juice with soya sauce chili padi.

Feng Wei Qing Taiwan Food


Mini Steamboat, can either choose beef, fish or pork... Soup can be chosen either chicken soup, tomyum or 麻辣... Enough for 2 persons..

Where to eat: One of the Taiwan Restaurant in One-Stop, Burmah Road... The building that right opposite the Adventise Hospital... It's open by a Taiwanese... There are variety of dishes to choose... it's either go with ala-carte or set meal... The famous dishes are pork ribs rice(排骨饭套餐) RM13.50... There are also soup dumpling(汤包), mini steamboat etc... The set meal will came together with drinks and desserts... It's located on the first floor right on top of the Bata shoe shop, use the staircase to go up near the Satay Hut...

Wan Tan Mee for Breakfast


Where to eat: One of my favourite wan tan mee that I like was in The Chowrasta Market in Penang Road... I used to eat it since I was still a kid... The taste was excellent... The noodles stir with black soya sauce garnished with vegetables, char siew with slices of chicken and wan tan... They used to serve it with soup but now no longer have it anymore... The coffee shop was just right next to the shop where selling meat...
